Situated in South West corner of Scotland looking over the Irish Sea within a picturesque fishing village. Nearest town is Stranraer near the ferry crossing to Ireland, great for day trips to Northern Ireland for great shopping in Belfast or to visit the famous Giant Causeway. Close by is the Famous Botanical Gardens, Castle Kennedy Gardens, Mull of Galloway the most southerly point of Scotland with views to Ireland, England and Isle of Man. Various beautiful beaches can be walked to or driven to. Our region also has the Galloway Forest Park, and several Golf Courses, Dunskey Golf Course is a few minutes walk away.

 

Portpatrick

Ocean Wynds is situated in the picturesque village of Portpatrick looking over the Irish sea, with a lovely seafront, beach, shops, pubs, putting green, Dunskey golf course and the start of the famous Southern Upland Way, an ideal location for families, friends, golf parties and other groups to relax and enjoy short or long term breaks.

The seafront/harbour and small beach is 5 minutes walk from Ocean Wynds.
local secluded beach is 15 minutes walk.
large coastal beach is an hour walk but is only 10 minutes drive away.
